Download Adobe Audition 1.5 for Free: Troubleshooting Audio Playback Issues on Lenovo Desktop PC
The Lenovo desktop PC, model M-55e 9645-QTS, is equipped with a Genuine Intel Core 2 Duo processor at 1.8 GHz (64-bit). Recently, I've been experiencing issues playing audio files using Adobe Audition 1.5 on this specific machine. Despite reinstalling the software and verifying that the files are not corrupted, I'm unable to play audio files in Adobe Audition.
The problem is not unique to a particular format, as I've tried playing MP3, WAV, AC3, and WMA files with no success. Interestingly, when I copied the same files to an external USB drive, I can read and play them using various audio software on other PCs, including Adobe Audition, Audacity, Windows Media Player, Gnome MPlayer, WinAmp, and VLC Player.
To further troubleshoot the issue, I saved some audio files (music songs from a vinyl) using Adobe Audition on my Lenovo desktop PC and placed them in the standard 'Music' folder. However, when I try to play these files using Adobe Audition on my Lenovo desktop, they cannot be read or played.
I've used Adobe Audition 1.5 on both my Sony Vaio laptop and Lenovo desktop with no issues until recently. To confirm that the issue is specific to my Lenovo desktop, I've been using Lubuntu through Wine without any problems. This has led me to suspect that there might be a compatibility or configuration issue with Adobe Audition on this particular machine.
In summary, I'm looking for assistance in resolving the playback issues with Adobe Audition 1.5 on my Lenovo desktop PC, specifically with regards to playing audio files. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
